Offering this Amazing Sculpture and Building Camp for Kids this Summer.

Family Fun Week----Design and Build a Stacked Spindle Sculpture as well as Grandpa's Garden Gathering Basket

Family Fun week is an opportunity for family members or friends to create side by side in the studio.  It is two for the price of one which is an amazing deal.  Summer 2020 we are offering a building and woodworking class. This means learning safely how to use tools. We will create a Stacked Spindle Sculpture that is 3 Feet tall with interesting things stacked on it. We will also create a Grandpa’s Garden Gathering Basket. Useful for gathering herbs, vegetables, even eggs from the chicks. Modeled after farmhouse baskets of yesteryear we will build with wood, a round dowel handle, and a screen bottom to allow dirt to wash off and through. After building you will have the opportunity to add painted accents as well. Two people and two projects. Drilling, nailing, measuring, painting, maybe spray painting, and planning. No experience necessary. Children under the age of 7 need an adult partner. 8 and up we encourage siblings. All materials and tools provided with instruction. $150 for two people. Monday August 3rd-Thursday August 6th 9am- Noon
