Weekend Workshops at the Studio

If you are looking for a deeper connection to your kids, grand-kids, brothers, sisters or any family member we encourage you to join us in collaborating or creating together in a shared space. Many of these workshops offer that opportunity.

Large Fused Glass Workshop Saturday September 13th 9:00am-11:30am

Join us to create one large 8x8 fused glass piece of art with a wood display stand. Learn about glass, spend some time playing with this interesting medium. All materials and tools provided. There is a 2-week wait to then pick up the pieces from the kiln.

$75 per participant 13 years to adult welcome on their own. Adults must accompany a child between the ages of 9-12 during the workshop(it is after all sharp)

Paper Marbling Workshop Saturday October 4th 9:30-11:30am

Join us for this very fun and playful introduction to suminagashi, a Japanese marbling technique that creates beautifully marbled patterns of color on various sizes of paper.

Join us for a playful and imaginative workshop where you’ll create your own one-of-a-kind mini “relics” using a mix of found objects, charms, and metallic paint. Think of them as tiny treasures—part sculpture, part talisman, and all uniquely yours.

We’ll explore the art of stacking, assembling, and adorning small hand-sized forms using an eclectic mix of materials—from quirky odds and ends to shiny metallic finishes. You’re invited to bring your own collection of small trinkets, keepsakes, or broken jewelry—or dive into our curated stash of curious bits and bobs.

You’ll make up to three pieces during the session, each one layered with meaning, humor, and personality. Expect a relaxed, hands-on environment full of creative surprises—no experience needed, just a sense of play!

Polymer Clay Workshop Saturday December 13th 9:30-11:30am

Learn all about polymer clay including three different techniques. They create one-of-a-kind handles for a set of new utensils and one set of measuring spoons. No experience necessary, all materials provided. Saturday December 13th 9:30-11:30am We can bake them at the studio or you can take them home with instructions to bake them.
