In Celebration of Rocks, Sticks, and Mud We Present...WILD at HEART Nature Camp August 12-16th

Wild at Heart Nature Week is for the child who loves and is connected to nature, earth, the wild! In this week long camp we will walk to some of the parks near the studio, talk about nature, the environment, collect, and create art with things from the environment. Projects include collecting some mud from Lake Monona and plaster casting, making an earth loom that is comprised of sticks, flowers, grasses. We will do a bit of plein aire painting by the Yahara as well as focus on animals, insects, birds, and butterflies. Make a small nature mandala and we will try to fit in grapevine crowns, rock painting, and nature collages. Monday August 12th to Friday August 16th Every day from 1-3pm Ages 7-11 Years welcome.
