Embroidered Wonderlands

Are you interested in exploring stitching, beading and embroidery and seduced by by the richness of small intimate wonderlands? Join visiting artist and educator Patrizia Ferreira to explore techniques in texture and surface design. You will learn different stitching techniques and use disposable materials and otherwise neglected or discarded materials to incorporate into pieces of wonderland art. The results will not only be mesmerizing but also sustainable! No prior experience necessary. Some materials supplied but others such as your own 6”hoop and needles you will need to bring with you.
