Wild at Heart Camp Aug. 15-17th

Wild at Heart Nature Days are three days in August Monday the 15th-till Wednesday August 17th 9:30am-2pm daily. It is for the child who loves and is connected to nature, the earth, the wild! In this 3 day camp we will walk to some of the parks near the studio, talk about nature, the environment, collect, and create art with things from the environment like rocks, feathers, sticks. Projects include: creating a leather pouch, making an earth loom that is comprised of sticks, flowers, grasses, creating rainsticks, GIANT mushrooms as well as a few small mushrooms and cyanotypes. We will do a bit of plein air painting by the creek as well as focus on animals, insects, birds, and butterflies. Campers must bring their own lunch. Ages 8-11 Years welcome. Participants need to have a hat, water bottle, bug repellent, and sunscreen. If raining or storming we will draw or paint inside studio from nature selected and inspired items.

$125.00 per participant NOTE: if your child does not like being outside or like nature or walking than this class is not a good match for them.
