Plein Air Summer Camp for Elementary

Plein Air Drawing and Painting Camp meets Monday June 28th- to Thursday July 1st every day from 9:30am-Noon. Every day we will head outside into the neighborhood taking our sketching and painting materials, exploring nature and drawing or painting what we see. We will collect materials and create cyanotypes, do nature drawings on marbled paper, and create poetry sticks. Open to ages 7 years up to 12 years. Participants need to have a hat, water bottle, bug repellent, and sunscreen. If raining or storming we will draw or paint inside studio from nature selected and inspired items.

NOTE: if your child does not like being outside or like nature or walking than this class is not a good match for them.
